A Vision of Hope

All my life,I have held an image in my mind of a world of the future.In this world,certain things have come about which have transformed the Earth from the place we know,because it is a place of peace.It is a world without sin.

Many people use the expression ''in an ideal world '' in conversation.Every time I hear it ,I get the same image in my mind, and I wonder how long it will be before things are again as they once were,and how they should be,namely,as God intended.

In my ideal world,the plundering,polluting and destruction of the Planet has ceased.As a result of this,nature has recovered.With the restoration of the Earth's wild places,animal habitats are thriving , and everything is in balance and harmony.Faced with our own extinction,mankind has turned from the path of greed, the amassing of wealth and material things and his obsession with power.These destructive forces have given way to a desire to 'put the world to rights' literally.Without fossil fuels,the sustainable power of the sun,wind and waves has been harnessed to provide clean energy,and with now sane expectations of life,there is far less need for this anyway.People are joyfully rediscovering their own resourceful creativity and looking around with a fresh vision,to see what needs to be done,and then doing it.They are content with far,far less and they are self reliant.They have realised the futility and waste of going to war, as tolerance and deeper understanding has removed the fear that fuels the need for it.The realisation has also been made that it is not necessary to 'own' so much if everyone is willing to share what they have.There is a global understanding that there is only one God,only one Earth,and we are all inextricably connected to both and each other.

There have been many great civilizations on Earth , ours is obviously unprecedented because of it's destructive impact on the planet,but even so,we are still just a slim chapter in the epic history of the Earth.If it was possible to return to this planet in a hundred years time,I believe we would see taking place a wonderful reformation.The reason for this would be because at last , mankind had reached the point where he had no alternative but to do the will of his Creator.

Comment by Mugheez on January 14, 2013 at 11:51am: When a woman conceived a child, she , father of that child and all their family members start preparing the way, the comfert and resources for the child before his physical birth. Medical science says that a child of 3 months takes breath, at the age of 6 months, he is able to identfy his mother and father voice etc. Actually he is connected to the world that is outside.However , all these voices of the external world are weird for him because his all world is his mother's womb , where he is having everything. That place is excellent for his life but at the time of His birth, two things happens. He is being disconnected from the womb forever and at the same time he is migrating to a a New home i.e. (a huge world) . He cry because of his seperation from his existing world but then he receive a great reception from those who were waiting for him. He receive the warmth of his father's hand, the softness of his mother, the smile of his family. Everyone cheer for him and welcome him and in few moments he started liking this world. Now he began to adjust with this world quickly and every day brings him delicious food, love, toys, the feeling of being important,Than he started loving this world so much, his childhood comes, he finds friends, games, schools, choclates, ice-cream , fun, music, and all these good things made a great memory and he entered into the youth where he enjoys sex, marriage, ambitions, plans, bank balance etc and slowly entered into the old age where he enjoy respect being experienced person , elder of the family and holds authority and than one day his death(seperation from his world) also came. Now he has attached himself with this world and all its beauty so much that this time became a time of pain for himself and for his family. He don't want to leave this world but he has to remember that the next world is more amazing than this world. He should remember that when he left his mother's womb, it was like the closing of one home and opening of another world , similarly , when he close his eyes on this earth , he opens it to a better world where , no worries, terrorism,blood shed, anger, greed, lust will give him pain but prosperity, comfert, peace and holiness with keep his soul fresh and amazed. that World and that Earth is the final destination for those who believes in Christ Jesus and have washed their clothes in the holy blood of Jesus.

The main reason being that "that old serpent, which the devil and Satan" are bound in the bottomless pit "that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled". (Rev. 20:2-3). However to rid the earth of all the stinking, smelly factories and fossil-fuel burning vehicles, it's going to take a total make-over in the "new Heaven and new Earth" of Rev. 21:1 God's Heavenly City, New Jerusalem, cannot come down to the earth until all the pollution and corruption from man's reign are completely done away with, and only then will "the tabernacle of God [be] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." Rev. 21:3

And our future is even grander than all that we can imagine!
