Welcome to Godfmtv, your personal internet God space and fellowship!  Our desire using a website is firstly to be a global instrument in God’s hands to reach to the farthest part of the globe with the good news of Jesus Christ.  As we do this we are creating a place where believers are becoming passionate disciples, burning with love for God and for the proclamation of the Good News.  Seekers can find God and believers are growing and building one another up in our most holy faith across the planet.

Our prayer for Godfmtv is to pioneer genuine biblical fellowship in a virtual setting. This internet God space is a place where seekers of all walks of life, creeds and convictions, races and nations can discover the bubbling stream of Living Water and there delight themselves in the abundance of God's goodness, hope, peace, love, righteousness, justice and purity.

The reason for the name Godfmtv is simple.  God is the final destination and the all encompassing reason and purpose for our existence, so without saying too much, we believe 'God' says it all and God is BIG.  

'FM TV', well in the past and still today these two great mediums, radio and television have been instrumental in communicating the wonderful message of divine love, salvation and redemption locally, nationally and globally.  Today, in our modern computer age the internet has rapidly become the platform for global inter-continental, national, regional and local communication.  Allowing us to communicate through written words, images, sound and video.  

Using all of these mediums, we wish to use our gifts, resources and talents to communicate to all who will hear the Good News of the God's plan to save mankind.

There are many wonderful Christian internet websites and fellowships out there.  Godfmtv will add to the diversity of Christian expression.  It is certainly a challenge to invite people into a place where you hope there will be a open and generous exchange of ideas.  

One of our emphases of ministry has been on Peace Making (Matt 5:9).  One of the greatest weaknesses in the church today is conflict resolution along with the lack of knowing how to speak the truth in Love. (Eph 4:16)  What this always creates is a community where people mask their true self and feelings with superficial smiles and Christianese cliches.  New believers are brought into churches where these patterns of behavior are systemic and they are lulled into believing that the church is full of perfect 'nice' people.  This creates the further pressure to be 'perfect' & 'nice', so the new believer rapidly learns how to wear the mask and speak the right words.  Then it all comes tumbling down when conflict happens.  Suddenly people are getting hurt, Christians are hurting Christians and all hell breaks loose as 'we' do not know what to do.

The need for honest confession as to the condition of the church, its brokenness and its broken members is critical in discipleship.  New believers must learn the realities of conflict and that it is a part of the Christian life that must be embraced as an opportunity to grow and practice the cross, the very essence of our faith.

So being a Peace Maker is deeply entwined with being a Christian.  If we divorce the two we end up with churchianity and a lot of nice people who never really enjoy true fellowship because they cannot interact with each other without using their masks.

Speaking the truth in love(Eph4:16) on the other hand, being ministers of reconciliation drives us to the cross where our sins are revealed and we live out our faith in mutual confession and submission.  In honest vulnerability and sincerity, we can walk in the light as He is in the light, and we there have fellowship with one another. (1John 1:7)

The life of the church is in the people of God.  Jesus in us expresses Himself differently and individually and so we want this to be a place where you can express the creative aspects of your Christian life.  How we each in different ways convey our love and admiration for God and for the things he has made.  Godfmtv.com is a place where creative believers can share their gifts and talents in ways that many times are not facilitated on the local church level.  Godfmtv.com is where you can upload essays, written prayers, testimony, pictures, photos of art work, of sculptures, examples of creative writing, video productions, music and any other medium which is used to glorify God.  

The Christian life is vivid in all of its intricate and delicate facets, and here at Godfmtv  we are creating a beautiful tapestry for all to see and enjoy.

Wounded.

We all come to the cross wounded in some form or another.  Dealing with deep wounds, spiritual abuse, abuse in general, rejection, discouragement and depression are very present issues that we all have to overcome and get healed from.  Christians have to deal with them sadly, even as the world does.

Coming to Jesus means many times He heals us as we let Him.  But sadly the healed, or apparently healed heart can be terribly bruised by others in the Church environment.  Believers are extremely vulnerable to hurt because our expectations are set so unrealistically high in most churches where new believers are deceived into thinking that church is heaven on earth.  That it is a place of perfection on earth, where perfect people gather, smile, wear nice clothes, say nice things, most of the times parroting Christian cliches with all the appearances of Christ-likeness.  What we do not realize is that many times this is an act and that is why this can be the most dangerous place on earth.  

So if that is you, if you have been wounded, rejected, mis-understood, betrayed, abused, manipulated and any other negative experience, then this we pray is the place for you, where you will find healing.

I am sure there are many of us here walking around with a limp!
